The last 10 years of research, scholarship, and creative work at the University of Denver has grown exponentially. DU is proud to be recognized among 146 other universities as conducting very high levels of research as a Doctoral/Very High Research university (or “R1”) by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. We are the only private R1 in the Rocky Mountain West.
